clocks not working

iv put a red top in my sr now none of the clocks are working, i get the amp meter and the red lights work but no rev, water temp, or oil pre, iv looked at the fuse box and there all ok what else do i try

Have you joined the wires form the XEs loom to the dash/car loom?
Blue Water temp wire etc?

yep iv done them how the book i got from pvd (a long time ago) said
