my mates c20xe nova (mk1 sr) fuel rail isnt getting any petrol to it, hes wanting to check the relay as i dont think its working. which relay is for the fuel pump?

for a start its black not purple lol, i think your thinking of corsa ones

12v applied to the pump terminals would be the easiest way to check if a connection is amiss.

Some fuel relays are purple, mk3 astra's are iirc.
But most are black as already said.

Listen for it clicking when you crank the engine.
