xe earlyer and later engine

my later engine xe no.2 has a big lip and ive found in the scrappy early xe will the pulley for timing belt etc fit from my later engine

big lip? i was told it doesnt matter ive got an early bottem astra gte 1988ish and a newer top cavi gsi 2000 1991the only difference i noticed is the length of the bolts 5mm difference

lip on bore number 2 due to wear and tear.

why not de glaze it should take some of lip off
