sound proofing on the roof

i removed my roof lining the other day and now whats p+ssing me off it the stupid sound proofing i have pulled all the big bits off but were the glue is it takes ages and hurts my fingers doing it:mad: lol
is there an easyier way to remove the glue??!!!

I used a wire brush on a drill on mine, came off ok, did make a bit of a mess tho !!

will try thinners first i think, wire drilled my bulk head i i know it makes a mess so i dont realy want to use it on my roof!!!

the easiest way i have found for these type of things are...... i buy my missus someting nice if she does it for me lol.

no but seriously. try thinners or a heat gun/

All the glue on mine was all hard and just kinda cracked and came off, was still a ball ache tho.

tryed heat it just kinda srunk and left the glue on. tryed thinners and it works realy well just a pain in the **** realy. will get some pics up of what it looks like atm for ya lad

im planning on painting the hole inside gloss white again, na still glad its gone got a ?10 for it as i sold it to my brothers gf lol its a bit of a back ache as your twisted upside down

Seeing as you intend to paint it after use some nitromors on it,it'll take the paint off aswell but will make the job a lot easier;) ,what paint are you going to use??
