If I want to fit dials from a Cavalier in to a Nova, is there a specific set I need? I see the Calibra and Astra dials appear to be the same as the Cavalier ones. Will it matter which car the dials come from? Also does it matter which engine the donor car had - some of them go up to 140mph, some to 160mph, and with different redlines on the rev counters. Are derv ones usable?

The nova will (eventually) be fitted with an XE if that makes a difference.

You need a mech driven speedo(Speedo starts at 10mph, not 0mph iirc)

Also, i think the 8k rev ones work differently than the 7k ones, so i'd get the 7k, 140mph clocks.
