Nova front wing

Are the front wings on MK1 Novas screwed into place? Or are there any points where they are welded or bonded to other panels?

they are bolted across the top two under the wheel arch at the front one at the bottom of the wing by the door and two in side under shelf, shelf will have to come out and the side cover its also got like tiger seal across the top and down the one side by the door should come off with a yank

what i did was

take the bolts out from under the engine bay
then take the bolts out from under the inner wing (at the front of the wheel)
then the 1 from under the wing on the sill
then take the ****ty shelf off
the the plastic cover mine jus poped of no hassle
the the 2 bolts under the cover

piece of piss all are 10mm bolts to lol:thumb:

When fitting the new item will it need any sealent anywhere or the bolts are all it needs?

i never replaced the selant was going to never got round tho if you are going to then just scrape the old stuff off from the top and down the side

Will prob do it to do the job properly.

Tigerseal and sikaflex should do the trick.

I dont bother with the sealent.

Might be worth doing tho if you have it to hand.
