my battery tray has started to rot away like so many novas have, and i'll be patching it up soon. does the dash have to come out to do it properly? if not what is involved?

yuo dont have to take the dash out, but its normally a two man job. One to weld an the other to keep an eye on inside and pull the wires back.

id pull as much out as you can, cheaper to spend a few hours removing dash n carpets than replacing a burnt loom!
