I like them both on a Nova, if money was not a consideration I'd have Speedlines over the Cav rims everytime though. I've got a set of Cav Cesaro 6 spokes on my Nova project.

Never been that much of a fan of the Cavvy alloys myself (although on some occasions they can look alright). Voted Speedlines if you're deciding between the two.

Cav GSi ones, they look sweet, probably lighter, much closer to stock fit than the speedlines and tyres are cheaper.

calibra turbo alloys are 5-stud, so wont be easy to get them to fit.

Speedlines suck

Yes it did, however his was converted to 5-stud.

Cav GSi for me. As Chris said, closer to original Vauxhall offset and cheaper/better tyres available.

I'd rather have Cesaro style wheels though.

The speedline is a classic and always will be, but recent trend, for a change, cheaper to buy, thanks to new/cool painting, refurb techniques the cav gsi/cally 16v slot is the in fashion one ain't it. Ide have to agree so. Diamond cut is its finest incarnation, only on super slammed novas of course. But i think its heavier than the speedline..?

Yep they are heavy (part of the reason i run them due to personal preference) As regards the 'in' fashion, i wouldnt call it that, i have run them for 7 years now lol and a few for alot longer

Dude! if you can't make your own mind up then you shouldn't be modifying cars IMO lol

However, I would say go for the cav slabs, because they are so cheap and look as good as/occasionaly better than the Speedlines IMO

Alessio 2's are for bigger brakes and nothing else - when you have no choice IMO!

What sort of weight are the slabs with tyres? I prefer the slabs, but if you can afford them, go with the speedlines if they are lighter.
