i looked at a replacement nova yesterday, and now thinking of driving all the way back up to get it... so fed up! it did have a hole in the driver's front inner wing, where theres a little cover (looking from the front of the car). it was a big'ish hole, but passed mot, will it just be a case of taking the wing off and welding a bit of plate in?

cheers

Where about was the hole?

Up by the suspension turret?
Anywhere round there will fail mot.

no you can just weld a plate straight over the hole thats what i have done on 3 novas no need to remove wing just be carefull when welding and grinding the underseal back

if its on the passager side then as far as im aware they all came like that standard, if its the bit im thinking of. Its not a hole as such just where the skins dont over lap?

Ahh yeah, up inside the inner wing in the corner they all have a small square hole.

Yes between the back of the turret & bulkhead firewall. Always a hole into the arch.
