the plug from the bk of the Digi Clocks just watch up to the ones from the standard one ! you need to cut the old plug wires and join the wires upto the plug for the new clocks ! the colours should all match up!

yeah we've done that, n all is working but one light...its just the speedo....is there anyway of connecting that to the digi dash?

n the light that isnt working is when we turn lights on (not mainbeam as that works), just for when we have normal lights on....is there a light on the dash that should come on for this?

Any help appreciated!

The speedo is a wire, not a normal speedo cable...

Are you fitting a mk2 astra digidash?

Do you have the gearbox speed sender?

its very rare that you would be able to find a sender lying about, the best thing do to is look for a digi clock + desductor*Sender* with the clocks else there would be no point as the Sender has to match upto the clocks ! look in the parts forsale section when you buy clocks mate sure they come with the desductor*sender for speedo*aswell with the Wire Plug

Gearbox transducer.

They are V. expensive from vauxhall.

Best thing do is look for one second hand.

You need it as the digidash doesn't use a speedo cable, it uses an electronic signal sent from the gearbox. The speedo wont work without one.

The digidashes use two different types, one with 6 pulses, one with 16.
That one on ebay will work the dash, but your speedo might be half actual speed.

When you turn the ignition on what number appears on the dash?
125 or 127?

the trasnductor has to match up with the clocks otherwise they wont work !

127 appears on the dash when turned on.

You probably need a 16 pulse transducer for them then.

The dash will WORK with any GM transducer, its just if you get the wrong one the speedo will be out.
