As some of u know i have a 1.3sr with a GTe engine. However, i use a 1.3 manifold/system/backbox.
I'm gettin a manifold to fit a GTe/GSI system and i dont think its gonna fit the system i have!
Does any1 know wot does/doesnt fit.
If i had to get a gte/gsi exhaust system, will it fit the brackets on my sr?

the angle of exit from the sr downpipe is different from the gte one
all the nova hangers are the same apart from the one on the gearbox mount which is
non existant on 1.2
bolted on 1.3/1.4/1.6
and a rubber hanger on cat models

Mine was a 1.4 SR and I bought an entire GSI system and manifold. If you buy an aftermarket manifold, make sure you get the system at the same time, coz the system for a standard manifold, and the system for a 4-branch are sometimes different.

mm, cheers, well its a custom made manifold to fit the corsa gsi engine im buying, and the lad has a nova gsi, so ill need to find out if he has a cat or not.

LOL tell me about it MC. Bought a new manifold and it doesn't mate to system. So gonna treat myself to twin square system too.

yep. New valve arrived Sat morning. Should be (prob cursing myself by saying this) on the road by 7-8pm tonight :)

Lotus Elise (once I stopped wheel spinning)they get really good traction off of roundabouts, My m8`s 1.6 Turbo GTE, and the usual Golf GTi`s etc etc....

Yep, much quicker than b4. The driver gave that smug look that people do when they see "its only a little Nova" and that soon turned to a "what the f..." when I realed him in and went past. He did back off at about 110mph though

I`m a bit more choosy over what I waste my time on now. I dont bother with XR`s anymore and it would have to be a VTS saxo to get my intrest now.

U 2 are making me jealous! Rekon I'm going to have to go back to the rolling road to sort me misfire/nasty noise problem:( Tried lots of diff. things but I can't shake it but I will fix it...oh yes... I will fix it and then I'll give you some "real" Nova competition! You won't be losing me @ 110 :D
