Since added a spoiler and louves, havent got bonnet sprayed as yet but all in good time. The bonnet vents may not be to peoples liking but **** ya, they work and thats what there there for. And work well they do.

Sorted. They look darker than they actually are. As you can see by the one with the sun over it.

The not so middle ones are for the carbs. It runs a hefty 850cclol

love it mate as you said i,m going to get cracked on with mine early next year,lovin the spoiler to is it an original saloon one and where did you get it from as i,ve been lookin for a spoiler for ages and carnt find one i like but thats just right.Also the vents look spot on and how well do the middle ones work as i,m thinkin of gettin carbs for mine soon,keep it up and hopefully i,ll get mine featured next yer :D

Just goggled 'vauxhall nova saloon spoiler'. Thats how i found that one. There is another style. Cost ?80. Vents are very effective. Do what there supposed to.

Ummm.....unfortunately for the many across the nation (well just you) im not. I doubt i will ever sell or break. She's my baby, and i get all aroused when i drive her, nobody else will have that feeling with this car.

Try it, 5 min job. I like it, but then this is for road use. When i go to a track it might be a different story and require the roll bars.

I have never had one an anti roll bar on mine,and im sure most the guys that iether run xe's on or of track dont use them iether,and as long as you have a front brace and/or if your running cage it should be fine.

I would of said it wouldnt sit right, coloured grill on top of the black bumper.

And yeah, tint do look too heavy but they aint. Plus people dont need to see how ugly i amlol The middle vent look too far down the bonnet at times but it works. So who gives a ****. Also it nice looking out onto them from the drivers seat.

We've all got a bit of chav in there somewhere. Plus it more for the coppers benefit. Used to get pulled over all the time in it when she was white. Turns out were it was de-badged they didnt know what it was, plus the fact it was a saloon, they had never seen one.

Nah, the interior plastic trim that sits up the inside of the A, B & C pillars that is found on the Mk2s. Just thought it looked like you had them on the A pillars from the front view.

Sorry mate with ya now. No its not. I had a full headlining made which comes down the pillars too. Which inturn covers all the seat belt holes. Cunning.

It did back in the day. But took the retro route. As it stands i have the option late on in life (if i get bored of the look) is changing it all, its basicly a blank canvass.

Havent got any new photos as yet but next on the list of things to do are,
- Fit epas
- Fit a nice strut brace
- Custom made washer bottle
- Custom brake ressie
- Chrome cambelt cover
- Do a bit of adjustment on n/s/f chassis rail (got a bit bent year ago and is holding the suspension arm, so inturn holding it up)
- (after the above) custom make a lower brace for between the two rails.

Thats all i can think of at the mo.

That would be telling. All the stuff that have been made are one off prototypes so get a little discount, they're all made from stainless steel, which is nice. Ill pm you his details and you can speak to him, he'll create whatever you want, so you not limited to styles and doesnt look mass produced.

It had the lovres punched in it after the paint job, the imperfections are from where they heat it up to prevent the metal cracking.

Right, changes are a-foot. I cant be bothered send the car in for RR as the money can be better spent else where, but cheers for you help guys will do it later on. As the car is running perfect and i dont feel the need to know figures i sharnt bother. So heres were the money is being fed,

Not this weekend the next maybe im picking up a fresh set of avo coilovers from my mate Kevster, ill roll the arches too for good measure as ive bougth the tool and never really used it. May have a word with my body mate and see if i can stretch them out some.

i recently received astra servo and 22mm mastercylinder, super brakes,

i shall be sending it mk2 as its just got to be done, with a wheel change and some decals will be added, not chav, BT knows what im on.

The car will have two looks, that for the show and other for track, didnt get coilovers for nothing. That means two sets of bumpers.


I was feeling letf out with everyone else playing with there saloons.
