draper

im with you know, a smooth GSi with big mouth and black mesh ??

or the silk violet turbo that has the intercooler hidden behind the number plate on the road, then can easily expose it when on track/strip etc

Dude i know this might be a bit drastick, but if you realy dont want anyone to see the cooler and its a track car etc,you could try what i have seen on a mini running a rs lump.
He had mounted the rad in the boot and cut the floor and made a scoop that directed air into the boot,so you could chop out your wheel well and place it in there and have some cort of cover over it,and have the floor cut to let air in,this way you could use a standard gsi bumper and put a cooler behind it :thumb:

Cooler in the boot would create too much lag, and this isnt for the track car ;)

Dude reason lee said about the cool charger is (burt) dave of pvg has one on his mk1 let and im sure thats runing around that brake mark,he's done 1/4 in under 12sec's so might be worth getting on over to pvg and asking him a few questions,or pm him on hear Dave marshall.

Dave is having pretty bad inlet temp problems, but hes planning on a much bigger cooler rad at some point. I agree to an extent Stu, Big power will prefer an Inter, but i think daves will be much better once a bigger rad is fitted. Hes running around 245 bhp by the way.
