i no i need a, turbo , manifold, intercooler, a fith injector but would i have to low the compression to run it
please someone give me some advice
craig
yes you would you would also need some proper engine management to run it properly
bascically it would be the sae work as a 1.6 turbo , have a look round the forum as there is loads of info on them
Ideally you want mappable engine management, low comp pistons(to lower compression ratio)
But it can be done with a 2stage fuel regulator and using 2headgaskets/headgasket spacer to lower the cr.
Also, a e16se would help on a 1400 engine to lower the compression ratio.

isnt ir just worth doing a gte/gsi tracksplant first as these engines are stronger and will give more power

so could some people give me the best part but i dont want to spend to much. most i want to spend is about 1.5k i would think would it be best to do the head gasket than gettin new piston
cheers craig
if you've got that sort of coin to spend, go & get a 1.6 16v from a scrapper & throttle body it, you will go a lot faster, and it won't blow up if you thrash it.
