yes i took me side skirts off and found some rust! im not happy! is it bad tho? lol
im not sure compared to other novas etc

makes me think if i should carry on with this car or just reshell lol. i know its not that bad but i need to fit the new quater aswell, iv just had enough again now iv found rust lol

what you all think? is it bad? mainly just the passenger side. also where the back bumper goes theres a few holes along there that i didnt get pics of.

Pish, its a Nova. I'd be more surprised if you didn't find any rust lol

Doesn't look too bad. Couple of plates could soon sort that out. Are you replacing that rear arch, looks pretty bashed :wtf:

btw, I'm not photoshopping the rust away lol

just have a plate put in thats all i would do. thats not that bad ive repaired worse

Put the skirt back on and pretend you never saw any rust :)

looks like your going to need a new quarter panel any ways, the other side and back ,just cut out the rust and leave good fresh mteal and plate over it, and cover very well with zinc enriched primmer and few coats of paint, and it will bejust fine.

Better know someone handy with a welder.
Not too bad tho, inner arches look solid.

Thats the main reason i dont fit gsi skirts to mine, they trap mud/damp etc and encourage rust even more.

well yeh im replacing that quater like. i want to put the skirts back on once iv sorted it like, hat means i can have a bash my self like so it wont have to spot on, im also going to get it resprayed properly where the skirts sit with the rest of the car etc. is there something i can do to prevent rust appearing again or should i just leave the skits off.

since its been off the road iv been working my way from the front back like. and these parts are the only bits of rust on the car. so thats one reason i want to carry on etc.
