is there a diference between normal mk2 bumpers ,sr bumpers and gsi bumpers apart from the fact that the gsi is colour coded cos i ned a new bumper can i just get any mk 2 1 and get it sprayed?

the sr is the same as all the other mk2 nova bumpers i think and the gsi 1 is different

Yep....SR bumpers (MKII) are the same as any other MKII, but the GSi one has the extra lower piece that flicks out, and the larger air-intake.

gsi ones are also etch primered when new
colour coding mk2 std ones is hard work to remove speckles and make the surface good for paint

what about using filler primer after spraying it with plastic primer?
