1.2 head on a 1.4 block

Do people actually do this or have i just dremt it? if so whats the reason?

Higher compression
1.2 head has much better flowing ports than the 1.4 one.

People usually fit a 1.3 head tho as the 1.2 one may push compression up a bit too far.
