View Full Version : whats the difference between 1.4 and 1.4 sr engines?

its not a joke!!
i want to know what the difference is between them coz i know they have the same block numbers. i want to know things like is the cam/carb/head different. mins you im gonna put my 1.2 head on it ne way.

the cam is diffrent?

i have had 2 engines one from sr and one from mk3 cav and they drove exatcaly the same

well 1.4 has a single choke and single downpipe whereas 1.4sr has a twin auto choke carb and a twin downpipe which leads off the manifold that ok bruv'?

oh and its faster too......I can tbelieve i said that!!!!!!
