Got a bit of a problem here....
Up til today ive had MK1 SR clocks "bodged" into my MK2 dash, with the rev counter wired with a separate peice of wire which went from the spare spade connector on the coil (1.2 coil) to the spade connector on the back of the clocks. Finally got round to putting in my new clocks (from a MK2 SR) 2day, its all wired up, but the rev counter doesnt work. Ive connected the wire i put in for the old rev counter to the green wire from the plug on the new clocks, which goes to the exact same contact on the back of the clocks where the rev counter is, but it doesnt work!!!!
Is the rev counter buggered, or have i missed something silly???
Many thanx
