ive got a 106 xsi the drivers side rear wheel cylinder needs replacing. only problem being the drum wont come off now it spins freely,handbrake is off etc. tried everything even broke a slide hammer tryin to get it off. is there anything that you have to do? and little clips or anything? any help at all would be good thnx jayson

lol mite be stating the obvious but have you took the nut and bearings out of the middle under the grease cap??

You sure its not got a small screw holding it on?

i thaught id taken everything off when i did my missus 1 but i hadnt, check the haynes just to make sure

i had to do that job ona 106 and the drum was sufficiently worn that it wouldnt slide over the shoes. so i loosely bolted the wheel back onto the drum and ripped the bastid off

oh ryt try that later then, if not were going to heat it up and rip it off. thnx for the help

you can undo the shoe tensioner bolt things through the heles uf you want but i didnt bother. as was said just put the weel on and wiggle and kick as hard as you can
