View Full Version : fixed buckets onto sliding subframe?
Has anyone mounted bucket seats that are supposed to be fixed onto sliding/adjustable subframes? How did you do it?
I want to buy bucket seats and the ones i like are supposed to be fixed but id rather i could adjust them.
I've got some Imola 2's on sliding Nova subframes.
Got some sliding Nova subframes (GSi, GTE, SRi) then chopped off a few brackets so they had flat surfaces, then drilled a couple of holes for the side mounts to bolt to .... simple as that !!
lol
Cool thanks. So i will still need the mounts for the seats then? lol hoping i could save some money there.
What seats are they ? Side or Base mounted ?

They are side mounted,
Shouldn't have to many probs getting them to fit then, you'll need to buy some side mounts ....

Then as said, once you've chopped a few brackets of the Nova sliding subframes and drilled a few holes the side mounts will sit on top no probs, then there just to bolt down, use some high tensile M8 bolts.
