Trying to connect my c. locking (2 Door GM central locking kit) to my alarm module (MS AN400 series). I found out, what I believe is the correct wiring to connect to the alarm module but Im not having much luck.

This is what the maual says:
http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/7041/lockdiagramba1.jpg

So according to the above:
- Green + Green/White - Earth
- Purple/White - Brown/Red on c.locking unit (Lock)
- Purple - Brown/White on c.locking unit (unlock)

Central locking unit also has 3 additional wires coming out of it
Red (believe this to be the power feed)
Black/Red
Black/Yellow
Dont remember what the other wires are for.

I tried out what was shown by the manual, when its all hooked up when and the alarm is armed the passenger door locks but immediately unlocks whilst the alarm is still armed. The drivers door does nothing :wtf:

Whatever the passenger door has as in central locking kit the drivers door has. Normally the drivers door, when locked via the key, activates the central locking.

Am I doing something wrong or is it a case of the car needing additional kit?

Any help is appreciated :thumb:

The drivers door has a sensor but not a locking motor. You'll need to get a motor for the drivers door.
(If you arm the alarm and as soon as the passenger door locks push the drivers door pin down then it should stay locked)

as above, what looks like a locking motor in the drivers door is only a switch, it will have three wires coming from it. Change it for a five wire motor, running the extra 2 new wires to the outputs of the central locking relay.

Where would the 2 extra wires connect to on the central locking relay/unit?

there are six wires in total

Brown
Brown/White
Brown/Red
Red
Black/Red
Black/Yellow

Both of them on there now are 3 pin plug.

thanx
