Would a roll cage from a hatch fit into a saloon? As far as I'm aware its almost the same inside, but I'm not sure on round the rear seat area as the saloon has that panel behind the seats...

[edit] 2dr saloon btw!

If it mounts to the archs like BT's one then it'll be sweet. Or do what i did and custom make one.

Who needs an engine lol This car is Budget Car, so I'm waiting for a decently priced engine to come up anyway. Still need mounts, fuel tank, exhaust etc for that anyway.

Been offered a good price on a cage, not sure yet if I'll go for it. At the end of the day its only a road car, but there's no rear seats so a cage wouldn't get in the way...

Yeah it'll fit no probs, there identical to the hatch chassis wise (apart from the big **** stuck on the end) !!

Buy the cage Jack... you know it makes sense... plus if its a good price you can always sell it on.

jack, buy my engine, throw away the bottom end and fit a 1.6 to it and you should have 130bhp for ?500 ;)

yes it would... SD 6 point bolt in would fit without any problems at all. You may have to remove a bit of the supporting frame thing.
