View Full Version : Big Valve Help
Hi
I've just bought a worked Blydenstein B pack head (2nd hand) but i want/wanted a B+. So who can fit larger valves to this head? Any idea on cost. Im sure i came across an advert that broke down the price of head work but i can't find it now :(
Cheers
Ash
valves + cutting /lapping will be about ohh ?200
plus the mild port job to match the valves in... more cash

i bought a book, how to build modify and power tune cylinder heads. need it for my uni dissertation, but really useful with all tools need to carry out the work and cut seats etc. depends if you have access to a machine shop... and a bit of skill :)
bolx, i might just lump it or sell it on. i knew i should of been 'in the trade' or even have access to a machine shop.

Fit it, it will make a good difference to the performance of the engine :)

B pack is large inlet valves. B+ is large exhaust also.
B pack is same as Courtenay CS15 you were wanting Ash.

fit it, i'm jealous the blydenstein head i bought was for a big block... doh.
uni is good, i got access to a workshop, the technician is sound. spent all day today flowing a zetec 2litre head and st170 head... re-honed a bike engine the other week.

Really? ideal! thought that you could only have the inlet one enlarged anyway?
Bit confused now though as she said that it has standard valves and believes it to be a B pack also it has 'B' stamped into the head:wtf::tard::confused:
Chimp007 - workshop sounds ace, i should go to a better (one with an engineering dept.) uni
