There has been loads of questions asked about this...

Take the top of your air box off and look where the filter sits. The just use common sense where you've got to drill (making sure the air entering the airbox is getting filtered, and not just goin straight into the carb without filtration)

This sounds a bit wierd but if you picture the big circular airbox on top of your engine to be a tyre, you drill loads of holes around where the tread pattern would be ;)

Drill the underside of the box and the side nearest the wing. Then make sure you run a good cold air feed from the the bumper or front grill to keep everything going into the holes cool.

if u drill the underside of the box, wont the air going into the carb be unflitered?

Hold on, are we on about airboxes, or aitfilters here. I think you are all gettin confused!! Airbox=injection!!!!
Its underneath ur drill on an injection model and it does make a difference!!
On a carbd box u drill the sides!!!

well i have a 32/34 weber and i havent ever had a air filter on it.
Thats why my car f**ked up in milton keynes.
My advice.. dont take one off unless u like taking carbs apart.
