Looking at a pair of bonnet lifters for my Nova at supernovas website.

Can they be used outside the 'showcar' scene?

Are they strong enough when you have actualy broken down and its a bit windy on the motorway and prefer not to get your head smashed in by a falling Nova bonnet? lol i.e without the usual bonnet support?

Thanx :thumb:

Yes they'll be fine, there actually pretty strong, take about 10 mins to fit as well.

If your worried about the wind then just keep the bonnet stay as well... extra support.

Also don't use WD40 on your lifters if they start squeeking.

yep.... it knackers the seal...... meaning it can't carry the weight of the bonnet so will never stay up. :(

Also I noticed that INXX which is the branded name on the lifters are advertising in Total Vauxhall... claiming that its cheaper to buy them direct from INXX

How pikey is that.... unless INXX is owned by Supernovas surely that's a fraudulent advert.

It isn't fraudulent, Inxx dont own the url, supernova's bought it, and directed it at thier site....

just like if someone bought novaload.com and pointed it at another address, its not fraud, you can do what you want with an address if you bought it

same as www.c20xe.co.uk, point's to www.corsasport.co.uk

Supernovas are the UK Agent for The Inxx Product Range, be surprised if you find them cheaper!
