typical MPG for c20xe?

What sort of mpg would I be looking at for a c20xe nova with sensible driving, Ie light footed and high geared.

Is there anywhere I can calculate this or anything?

Try it out i guess?!
But it will depend on how well looked after the engine is,if its old and raged out,or recond etc..

Good point Scott, but a reasonable engine should return 35 - 40 MPG.

my old c20xe was better on petrol than the 1.2 corsa im driving at the min :eek:

well I have reset the odometer (or whatever its called) and I have filled the tank so I suppose Ill just see what sort of miles I get.

best way to tell is to

fill the tank to one click of the pump
reset the odo
drive till your bored/nearly empty
refill tank to one click

take litres, divide by 4.54 to get gallons
then divide miles by the answer to above to get mpg...
