you seem to no alot about the 1.6 so help me with this in 2nd or 3rd gear it picks up shit my 1.4 picked up quicker but as soon as it its 4000rpm it picks up shit quick what could it be cheers

Hmm, sounds like u got the same dodgy gearbox as myself and Mr_Mingle! Can i ask wot ur top speed is in 2nd and 3rd m8? I can get 66mph(at 7k revs) in 2nd and 90mph (7k rpm) in 3rd! If u get anywhere similar u dont have the correct gearbox. I stuggle to keep up with 1.4's below 50 as they have lower gearing to me, but i kill em on a straight run. Its only when u come off a roundabout doin 30ish, i am at 3200 revs, the 1.4 is at 4000ish revs, u know whos gonna be gettin away faster!!
I have the f13cr box ready to fit.
And when are u coming to play with us regulars on a sunday night m8? We are usually by KFC!!

I`ve fitted the f13cr box and the ratio`s are the same as the 1.4 f10 box except 4th and 5th. 4th is much longer and dont pull as hard as the closer box, but it goes of the clock in 4th and God knows what 5th does.

at the mo i got an f13 wide ratio off an astra, but got an f13cr ready to go on!

lol, change of plan, dont think the f13cr will b going on so itl b up for sale soon, also i have a chipped ECU (superchip) for sale!!
