looking to turbo my gsi need info

considering turboing my gsi what do i have to do to achieve this do i need to get hold of a diesel lump and strip the bits? is that possible? really thankfull for any help!

theres a kit on ebay at the min with everything needed,plus someones selling a turbo'd 1.6 on here

No the swapping the turbo etc from a td wont work, different manifold etc.
