surface rust

how much roughly do you think it will cost to get rid of a bit of surface rust on rear arch lips and bottom front wings all rust is very solid so its just a case of rubbing down, treating and spraying any ideas how much a decent job will cost and how long til the rust comes back?

That all depends really - do you want to have it treated properly with anti-stone chip? Prob looking at a few hundred with just the rear arches. If its a tricky paint to match then that will bump the price up.

You sure that the front wings just have surface rust? Its very common for the rust to have come through from the inside - might be more economical to fit new wings.

yeah I got a new wing from Just Novas for ?30, it fits really well. I had some rust on my old wing and thought about repairng it but for ?30 you might as well just get a new one.
