1.0 to 1.3/1.4 sr

does anyone know how simple it is to swop a 1.0 engine for a 1.3/1.4 sr?

Quite simple.
Will need a 1.2/1.3/1.4 carb fuel tank tho, and lines.
And you'll need a OHC 8v drivers side engine mount.

And engine,coil,dizzy etc.

Apart from that it goes straight in, just got to wire the coil up.

You'll need the gearbox out of the donor too, 1.3/4 engine won't mate to 1.0 4spd gearbox.

Ps you may have to mod the stick selector if changing to 5 speed, ie saw it off Lol!

thats jujst hassle get the whole gear selector... dont bodge it do it properly..

The gear selector should be fine, both 4 and 5 spd are the same, just 4spd has a small plastic lug stopping it going into the 5th position, theres no "bodge" in sawing the lug off.

Most dont even have it.

Don't think think hacsawing the lug off the stick is classed as "bodging" But i'd call fitting a whole new stick and selector rod "hassle"!;)
