my omp six point cage fits fine with the back seats, i even put the cage in with the back seats in place. had to take the fronts out tho. i would have thought most makes of cages will fit

what is the point fitting a cage with rear seats still in place?

If would make it more dangerous for rear passengers in the event of an accident.

i have a rear cage for road rallying, and you are required in the regs to keep the rear seats... however, it could be pretty dangerous even with some panding if someone hit the head on it in a crash...

Im with chris on this on, I dont see the point in fitting a cage with rear seats. The two just dont go together.

Safety Devices six point cage fits with the original back seat in place.
I am fitting an SD cage with fixed diagonal to the Sport & I'm keeping my back seat as its part of what the Sport is.
Nobody will be able to sit on them though as I'm fitting 4 point harness' :D

for some road rallying you ahve to keep the rear seats in but need a cage too.... for that purpose its "ok" but for actually using the back seats NO NO NO NO

ive got a 2.5inch polished stainless cage without diagonal, didnt have rearv seats in but missed stereo so re fitted em no problem, its better having the boot still and if need to take a rear passenger i stil can, i just got fed up of no interior as its my daily driver. plus now its slightly more practical i dont have to give in to using birds 1.4 8v pug 206!
