Are Digi Dash's more accurate than the standard nova clocks or is my gearbox playing up even more. How hard is it to change the gearbox oil or would it be worth going somewhere to get it done.

M8, i wouldnt really bother! But its upto u, and i think its the gearbox that aint accurate on speed rather than it being ur clocks!!!! The clocks should read wotever the gearbox is telling it!!!

The digi dash is miles more accurate than a standard analogue type....one main reason....the standard ones rely on air flow/pressure between the spinning fins and the other bit attached to the needle axle.....if you've taken the speedo out of your dash, you'll know what I mean. It's not an exact science, and the accuracy depends on the speed you're travelling.

With the digi dash, you've not got this crappy wind-powered speedo contraption...instead, it relies simply on electrical impulses from the gear-box sender...much more accurate.
