can you take off the window pillar vinyal i was just looking in the projects section and saw someone do it. is it easy? got me thinking shall i give it ago or keep the original mk2 sr theme

If it's in good condition leave it on. If it's a bit tatty then remove it.

getting it off is really hard done it mine because i resprayed mine and looks good with it off but i might put it back on dunno yet

You'll have to remove the rear window and part of the trim on the door to get it off properly, then use a hair dryer to get it off, make sure the csr hasn't been resprayed as well as you don't wanna end up with 2 lines where the paint stops !!

Door isn't too bad, just wind down the window and pull off the rubber. You can get away with not removing the rear windows (I didn't on mine) by peeling it back under the rubber seal

It has the window trim / surrounds fitted tho, so they'll have to come off !

I will not bother then! i like to keep the sr theme but i get urges to play with it and make it look cleaner etc so i will just leave it. thanks guys:thumb:
