I am getting a 1.3sr with no engine and i was wanting to know if i can put the suspension strait on to my 1.2 or should i just swap the springs

i take it the 1.2 is lowrd?

if not why u want to swap?

the 1.2 is standard
the SR's is lower than the standard 1.2
isn't it???

Nope. In fact, according to the Vauxhall Brochures, even the GTE is the same ride height as all other Novas.....put it this way, nowhere does it say anything to the contrary. In a newer brochure with the GSi in, again, it says nothing about the GSi being any lower than other models...so is it??

As far as the brochures are concerned, they only say that the shocks are different (gas instead of oil), and they say nothing about the ride height.
Are the springs a different rate on the SR compared to the standard 1.2 or 1.3 models?
What about the GTE?
The other difference is the Anti-roll bars.

sr are lower than 1.2
sri/gsi are lower than sr (10mm)

just seen / had loads of cars
and you can check the vaux parts computer and the sri/gsi stuff is different from sr stuff
