NOV4801 PROJECT (1.6 gte)

well i brought this car about 7 months ago and when i got it she looked like thishttp://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q25/nov4801/mybeast3.jpghttp://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q25/nov4801/mybeast.jpghttp://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q25/nov4801/mybeast4.jpghttp://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q25/nov4801/mybeast2.jpgthe plan was to finish the out side as bonnet needed redoing and change front bumper then start on the inside, but after a week i blew the ecu, fuel relay, air flow meter, head gasket, dont know how but they all went at once lolso i paid ?700 to fix all that and i thought right ican start the modding again.after a month i blew3 holes in the bottom end on the m1 at 10pm at night,so with that engine well and truely knackered i decidedto go out and buy another gsi engine, only problem was as the front bumper was so low it would not go on the tow truckso we had to take the front bumper off but it didnt come of as i hoped and resulted in the bumper goin in the bin. so at the minute the car looks liker thishttp://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q25/nov4801/IMG_0176.jpghttp://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q25/nov4801/IMG_0180.jpgalso decided to change the bonnet as other one needed to much work.i am getting me new bumper this sunday and new bonnet week after ready for its spray job, also going for some sri blue and grey interior, with few other lil mods.more pics to follow, what u look think

its your car but i think the bumper you have on it at the momment looks good, it would be even better if you smoothed it in and put gsi side skirts on her
just my opinion though.

i dont see the point in ripping all the body kit off and puttin gsi skirts and leaving the gsi bumper on,i did want a standard gsi when i brought it but this is the only one that was for sale at the timewill look gd when its finished

cheers rc plus if i put new skirts on and gsi back bumper etc its going to cost to much to respray it in the colour its in as its alfa romeo nuove pearl blue or something and i absolutly love the colour
also was the bat bumper easy to fit as the nova i got is a mk1 gte with mk2 facelift

picked bumper up last night, absolutly love it looks so much better in the flesh.gunna be fitting it this weekend as well as redoing my arches as they scrub as im runnig 17" alloys on a 40mm drop but goin for a 60mm drop

real nice car in the flesh very supprised as i dont really like modded novas but it all seems to go nicely a couple touches ups and alignment needed but once thats sorted itll be lush. hope you like the new bonnet scott good luck with your project

thought i would dig this old thread out and show you what happened to f47tow in the end. after me third engine went bang a couple of me mates decided enough was enough and told me to strip it and scrap it.after a month or 2 we decided to strip it and scrap the shell. heres some pictures.
