any good?

FLI 4 Channel Amplifier - 800w max (FI800)
Pair of 6" 3-way full range speakers - 200w max (FI6)
Pair of 6"x9" 3-way full range speakers - 375w max (FI9)

i'm just after the amp but it comes in a package deal, will this be enough to run my 1000w boshmann 6x9's? cheers

Fly is pretty pish TBH. It's cheap Vibe gear, but if your used to Boshmann stuff then it will be a vast improvement.

No offence intended. However pop along to an independant dealer and have a play. When I went to pick up a sub the assistants offered to wire in whatever I wanted so I could hear the difference in my own car, as it sounds totally different to in a showroom. See if someone local will do something similar then try dropping something like a set of vibes in. You'll realise the difference straight away.

fli isnt that bad really.

headunits are good, and some of the high end subs and amps are ok.

if thast the amp u want and all you need it for is to power 6x9's it will be ok

1. No 6x9"s are great. Fact.

cost=quality

buy cheap crap you get cheap crap.

2. These are wise wise words, listen to the man

I'm not sure why you have put them speakers in your center console, they are the worst place you could have put them! At the end of the day oval speakers are crap, i'm not gonna go into why, but they are. My advice?

Get a new center console, ideally one with no holes in it.

Get a new parcel shelf, ideally with no holes in it.

Get some ROUND speakers (6" comps are ideal) and a 12" sub, get a nice 4 channel amp to run them all and i kid you not, you will hate yourself for ever having anything else in your car.

believe me buddy if i had loads of money i would go all out, the speakers in the centre console were off my back shelf (replaced the standard 4x6's with jbl items) and the shelf is only mdf (its in my sally). i just wanted somthing a little different, and when the doors are open, the little 4x6's sound alright.

but just to finish, this is a shoestring budget car, so i'm going for what i can afford. i bought the fli kit today, and have already made half my money back by selling the speakers, so i'm chuffed!!

Fair enough. Just trying to offer advice, not only on the kit but also on the positioning, trust me buddy, just by moving them to the doors you will be amazed!

Yeah, thats not a cool move, possible the best way being to make up some slighty angled collars for them.
