does anybody know if u check a resistor with a meter using the polarity option (buzzer) if it should buzz or not....help me!!!!!

the buzzer checks for continuity?? so if it beeps its working ok.
y not use the ohms option on the meter tho?

yeah continuity thats what i ment :-), so if it doesn't beeb it means there is somthing wrong...right(i hope)

most ie 90% of continutiy testers on AVO meters will beep/buzz and give a read out of resistance if there is continuity. so if there is no beep first do a test by holing the two probe togeter to make sure that works then retest the resistor and if it is broke then fix it ;) job done

yeah thats what i was trying 2 establish...if it was workin or not, this means that ma amp wont have 2 get sent down to Phoenix Gold to get it fixed..(thank fcuk)
