front panel on the car, consisting of slam panel lower cross member and light surrounds.
i.e this.....

has anybody fitted a new one and just looking at some difficulty gen and tips for easier fitting, unless anyone is a good jobby around manchester with a welder as i dont trust myself! :roll:
any gen at all much appreciated.

Mark, Sel Imperial (www.sel-imperial.co.uk) list them for both Mk1 and 2, at a touch under ?90.

mines new, but i had my chum do it... ill speak to him tomorrow and see if he can help...

Looked on the site but it says "not turbo diesel" any particular reason for this? an where would i get one for a diesel?

I done mine in the summer mate, the panel was about ?75, was fairly easy because, is it the anti roll bar? bolts to the underside of the crossmember on both sides and it holds it square for tacking it on, I just had to kinda 'guess' with the top part ha ha Here's a couple pics

Hmm... does a TD have a bigger rad perhaps? Additional or different bolt points on the front panel? Not sure why it would be different. Need someone who has a TD and a normal nova to compare lol

Yeah it does i think, and its pipe locations are in a different place.

i took mine to a bodyshop where they orderd it in and fitted it for ?150. looks to hard for a novice like me!

no i havent bought that one in the picture, its one form ebay.

an autofactors near me, called supertune(there are a few around) do them for 65 quid.

anyone else with more gen? cheers
