lmao i was just looking at some of the old features on here and i cant believe some of this ****e im reading lol and some of the cars!! Big bodykits ( i prefere standard gsi's/gte's etc lol) with stupid 13inch wheels lol and i came across these 2 reply and i couldnt stop laughing!!!lol lol lol :thumb:

The features always seemed to attract chavs like flies to sh*t, more so than the forums did.

There are some atrocities in the features, enough to single handedly keep BarryBoys.co.uk going ad infinitum. IMO the features section should be rebuilt...

I think he meant if the features get rebuilt then archive the old ones somewhere... for the humour value perhaps? lol

lol stuart!!!:roll: i said if the features were to be re done the ''old'' url for them must be put somewhere so they are still accessable lol - jayd its in the projects lol:thumb:

yea since i last could update my car's feature its had an engine conversion, resprey and whole new interior, and been written off lol

Surely that would take up valuable server space.

IMO feature section should only be available for paid up premium members only.

Good idea... perhaps read only for non-members, or they can only see one pic of each car, to see a full feature they'd need to be premium... would have thought that would either raise revenue to pay for the hosting, or lower bandwidth chomping (as only one pic viewable to non-members).

Are there any online standalone database utilities that could host a features section?

I'd say MySQL, use it to create user group links to php pages, that way read & write access can be controlled according to group status, much easier to implement that differing content.

Any thoughts?
