Hi guys i want to lower my nova to the same height as SRlew's nova. My old gte used to sit in exactly the same way, as i already bought the car that way, didnt really bother to check how much it was lowered by or what suspension used etc. It was sitting on cav GSI rims with 195 45 R15's grip as in SRlew pics. The suspension setup never scrapped knocked or anything but ride quality was abit hard.
What would be the best setup for good ride quality as well as looking the part for daily use, AS DRIVING A LOWERED CAR CAN BE ABIT OF A CHORE ON A DAILY. (Not neccessary looking at the cheapest option) any advise please?:)
tbh i dont think that you can really beat 195/45/15 on a 60mm drop. It all depends what you want mine are 195/50/15 on i think a 60mm drop but it doesnt look that low at all the front does but not the rear but any lowered Nova is going to be uncomfertable!! or how u spell it lol!!:thumb:
yeh i love the way it sits! if your walking up to it it just looks mean lol
mines just on a g max kit, i carnt complain!

ideally i did someone to show me pics with different suspension heights, that was i can say, ''yeh i want it sitting like that''.
nobby you got any pics so i can see what a 60mm drop looks like, i got pics of my nova but aint got a clue how to stick em on here dont get the jargon
pic of my old Nova on 60mm gmax just springs with 14 inch alloys with 195/55/14 tyres looks loads lower than my new nova on a 60mm drop with gmax struts and springs

hmmm the nova....legend that car i should have kept that and ex'd it! gutted!!
I have a 40mm drop on Apex shocks and springs. Its bloody uncomfortable in some situations, everything rattles and I love it. It doesn't look lowered sitting on 185 55 14s which is ace (it handles alright and confuses krooooooze lads). It also doesnt ever rub or scrape the front when going up drive ways or over speed bumps.
I'd say 40mm is a practical drop, although not as aesthetically pleasing as a 60mm drop.
