View Full Version : taking an xe out and replacing with an 8v?
right chaps! just looking at a 2.0ltr 16v corsa. if i buaght it and then wanted to put the engine in my nova, would the mounts be ok? could i just chuck it in the nova? also would a 1400 8v go into the corsa previously xe'd corsa?
any help apprieciated, lew

You will need nova mounts to fit into a nova, corsa ones are different. And yes you should be able to fit a standard engine back in unless for smoe reason its been done very pikey and they have cut bits out.
ah right cool! so i take it id need standard corsa engine mounts? and to put the xe in mine, id just need the nova mounts nothing else?

Shafts are different too so would need nova jobbies.

new shafts to put the xe in the nova? corsa xe ones not the same?
or would i need corsa ones to put the 8v in that?

but its not asiff i have to get the corsa driving first like so i can just leave that for a while lol.
also what about the log book etc! easy to change down to 1400 again? lol
ah right i see! lol ah well its gotta be done lol wud have to buy some any way if i started from scratch like, so...
