What width,offset wheels, what tyres?

Std arches or rolled?

How long is a piece of string! lol

As said, depends on suspension, wheel width, tyre size, offset, whether the arches are rolled, how driveable you want it, round or square arches... Not to mention that each Nova seems to vary from the next by a few mm. In an ideal situation (from the wheel fitment point of view) you could probably go down to 60mm, even lower with a bit of arch-chopping and some coilovers.

It's a comma for the s stupid  lol

The wheels i have used to belong to Chris from here, Dod bought them off him, and i'm buying them off Dod lol the Nova is standard, nothing has been done to the arches, and nothing will be done! it's staying standard, bar an engine conversion :thumb:

Nothing a big hammer & balls cant sort. Theyre 49mm offset IIRC, so it should drop right down. Carefull tyre choice might help.

Yoko A539 are a slim tyre in 195/45 fitment.

And for the even stupider - its an apostrophe

And if I was being a super duper pedant, you wouldn't have an apostrophe there at all; it should be "16s" :D

lol :p

Right, getting back to the point of this thread.
16s will rub with std arches even just lowered 30/40mm, even et49 will rub when you hit a bump

The wheels are 45mm offset, so arch modifications will be required.

God knows how much mines lowered by, 60mm on rear and fecking low on coilies at the front

On speedlines with 5mm spacer on the fronts

Rubs on the front only on full lock and on the rear when cornering at speed!
Doesnt rub on bumps!

Going realy low is to much of pain trust me...

you get it low and think humm nice, but then it rubs on the arch and scrubbs the hell out of the inside of your front tryes,so you corretc this problem by spending even more money, and then you spend more money by getting your tyres changed..blah blah blah

Just lower it 45-50mm

If it'll be safe 40mm lower then i'd just stick to that, don't want it too low lol
