Cheers Benn, Similar to what i want, But very different!

Im unsure of wether to stay breeze blue or go arden blue. But ill be having the speedlines and possibly the SR vinyl too (Or GSi Skirts painted same as bumpers!)

Looks spot on though matey, absoulutely gorgeous!

RobMarriott
03-12-06, 09:34 PM
Is breeze blue the bright blue often found on SRis?

I'd say leave it that colour if it is, solid colours are cool.

Stoo
03-12-06, 09:40 PM

ah sell it!!

should be changing my wheels i think...new engine too

Stoo
03-12-06, 10:39 PM
|Cool, the SR will either get T40s and lots ofwork or a simple XE on TBs!

Benn
03-12-06, 10:43 PM
cool,1.6 8v mostlikey going in here...t40'ed with work...

Stoo
03-12-06, 10:46 PM
Yeah, sounds good!

Ive done the XE thing now i fancy a small block with noise!!!

Ie, keep the 1.4 in, fit a 1.6 head with work + cam/vernier, T40s etc etc!
140 ish BHp with small block handling!!

Benn
03-12-06, 10:49 PM
lol funny same here,
eveyones got an xe,and the 1.6 is so much easyer to work on, more room wise..and everything cheap as piss for them...lsd 250....mmmm

Stoo
03-12-06, 10:51 PM
Precisely! Plus a sorted 1.6 can match an XE if driven right!!

RobMarriott
03-12-06, 10:51 PM
smallblocks are the way forward :)

Stoo
03-12-06, 10:52 PM
XEs are the way forward!! (FAST)

Small blocks are the way round bends!!!! ;)

RobMarriott
03-12-06, 10:54 PM
Tuned smallblock 16vs are the way forwards fast, AND round bends.

But, they aren't as cheap to build as 8vs or XEs :(

Stoo
03-12-06, 10:56 PM
Thats the only prob!!

Im gonna stay small block i think, its getting to the point where it makes a change to see a small blocked 8v nova at shows in stead of walking down a line of cars going XE, XE , XE , XE, Ohhh LET, XE , XE, XE!!

RobMarriott
03-12-06, 10:59 PM
definitely, I know what I prefer.

Benn
03-12-06, 10:59 PM
never had a prob about bends....
mine handles fine...

i'm a less is more kinda guy...

Stoo
03-12-06, 11:01 PM
TBH i never had a prob in bends with mine either but i can certainly feel the dfference with a small block!

Ive fitted coilovers, poly bushes and removed the ARB too and its made a world of difference!!!

Its a proper weapon now! Just need some power to shove it along a bit more!!

Im trial fitting my old brakes this week too, 4 pot red brembos and 308mm discs. dunno if theyre gonna fit behind my "Lines" yet though! Rear discs going on too!

RobMarriott
03-12-06, 11:04 PM
I'm making my judgements on my old X16XE corsa, and 13N Nova, with no experience of a bigblock Corsa/Nova for any length of time TBH lol

You can MAKE a car handle, so really, the engine isn't a problem.

I just like little, revvy, noisy engines :D

Adam

Integra Type-R import thingy

Why cant they call it that? DC5 pah. What does that stand for? The drivers condition* & how many chavs fit on the back seat!

Big Blocks DO Handle.

No they dont! They try & go straight on in bends, dont steer as acurately & YES you can perform all manner of tweaks to help it, but those tweaks on a small block Nova will give an even bigger advantage away.

LET or dont bother I say!

They dont call it that because there are a few models of integra. And they arent all Type R, or Imported!

DC5 is the Model Designation. Like its predecessor the DC2. God knows what the codes mean but i can assure you, the DC5 is FAR from Chav! Unlike the EP3 the Current Civic Type R. Thats Chav!
