Is that a good thing to do then ?
I usually end up doing that if i'm painting small things, mainly because i cant be ****d for the primer to dry !! Usually comes out ok !! lol

you'll all ways get a better finish on it if you flat the primer till smooth,
but its ok to do,and wont cause any probs,

Wet on wet is a special primer mainly 2k,designed mainly for new panels it dries in about 10 mins and can be painted on straight after with out and further preping.

If you leave it longer than 30 mins it can be to hard to accept paint and will need a quick flat or rub down.not really ment for priming over filler, but ideal for alloy wheels as they are soft to rub down and hardly any filler is needed as alloy can be sandered into shape easy aslong as damage is not to big!

sounds about right to me mate, only as someone said you paint over it when its wet you cant do that or it will go tits up,bed im a painter so its more than luck mate as i dont think i would have a job if i had that happen lol,
