Just won this little fella, seems canny from the pics, I haven't seen any more though, IE: slam pan, boot floor, batt tray, the 'rust spots' on arches, however I am going off the condition of the front valance, the fact its garaged all the time and it owned by an old man :)

Might go down tomorrow and check it over :thumb:

Looks ok but i wouldnt go off the fact that its been garaged, i went to see one that had 23 000K geniuine miles one owner from new with all historys that only came out the garage on saturday mornings. Rust was from the front wings under the doors and rear arches

putting a soaking wet car in a garage can do more harm than leaving it out in the rain lol

You're right like, my mates granddad used to leather off his astra every time before it went to sleep - i assume this bloke has done the same :roll:lol

Well, the clean ones have to belong to some people - If I don't like what I see, I inform him of this, sounds **** the one you went to see, based on the description Joe :(
If it looks canny outside, under bonnet, inside arches etc Then I will check all the usual areas and the ****ing floor lol
Do they all have sound deadening on the floor? :thumb:

Never bought it! - fcuk the eBay rules...

Aside from the rear arches being away quite badly where they meet the sills, the n/s/f arch was bubbling at the bottom, the o/s door was away outside and inside, there was a gash in the rear quarter that had been touched up with a chip stick and the rear end had been pushed in slightly behind the bumper, apparantley from his wife trying to move a block of flats once lol
It's just not what I'm looking for, although for ?300 it is well worth it if you are willing to do a tiny bit work (unlike me) the boot floor, batt tray, slam panel, inner arches are all mint, no rust even on the seams
Someone else should buy it though :D
