Scan your computer with AdAware SE Personal (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php), Spybot S&D (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/) and AVG anti-virus (http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1). All are freeware.

For best results, run each one on a full scan, then restart your PC into safe mode and ruin each one again. Depending on the size of your machine they could take a while to complete.

Do what RJ said, then use a different browser, especially for when you're looking at porn. I'm an opera (http://www.opera.com) fanboy, but a fair few on here swear by firefox (www.getfirefox.com) aswell.

Firefox seems to have a bug on my computer where it slowly eats up ALL my RAM (as in ALL available memory, it gets to about 1.2Gb and slows everything right down as there's nothing left; given half a chance it'd probably eat all 1.5Gb lol) after a while. Dunno why, but I'm running Aston which might be interfering with it perhaps. Still prefer it to IE though :D

There is a fix for that somewhere, but its one of the reasons I switched from FF to opera :).
