mike i doubt i'll be selling the wheels lol but i am looking at a set of 14" alloys at the min.

what you all think of smoothed boots then?

or do i just leave the car as it is? and keep it different with the grey parts etc?

Nice car mate!!

Yeah mate as jseymour said paint the bottom of the front bumper (skirt) same as or near colour as the side skirts.

Colour code the bootlid spolier/ wing mirrors and get some black viny for the bootlid, its your ideal opportunity to make it look like a GTElol Only joking each to their own!!!

What i would like to know is what lowering set up have you got as my old nova was sitting exactly like your including the wheel and tyre profile from what i can see (they werent white though) and now i want my new one to be sitting in exactly the same way ride height?

lol yeh the ride height and set up looks soo good i think!

yeh i m trying to find a red sr tailgate with vynal on, found a white one and was going to leave the writing in white to match the wheels but thought it might look gay lol

right i'll do the grill and spoiler red i think, but i need vynal on the boot if i spray the spoiler!

cheers for the comments guys!

Jack
04-12-06, 10:28 PM

SRlew
05-12-06, 01:56 PM

Paint the bumpers, spoiler and the grill rover hurricane grey, also do the skirts. Leave the boot and flush the grab handle to loose the lock and paint again hurricane grey.
Wheels (well u copied me) leave white.

Just an idea... how about paint the skirts, front and back lip white and leave your white wheels on oh and the bottom half of the boot red.

I'd change the number plates back to rectangular ones as well, think square ones look awful, especially on the back.

SRlew
11-12-06, 11:30 AM
yeh i was considering changing them back and having the front one quiet low in the middle like, but im unsure whether to change them now, as its just somthing different and its grown on me lol

Jack
11-12-06, 11:55 AM
I'd say change the back, but leave the front...

Matt2107
11-12-06, 12:02 PM
lol I'd do the opposite... change the front leave the back.

SRlew
11-12-06, 01:19 PM
LMAO might get a back one made up and see what it looks like when it gets resprayed

jack try and get on the case mate! is it possible to edit a normal plate on the rear?

Matt2107
11-12-06, 01:24 PM
You could go for short rectangular... you can shorten them by a certain amount and still be legal... cant remember what it is though.

SRlew
11-12-06, 01:47 PM
ah right sounds good. might look in to that!

Jack
11-12-06, 01:55 PM
I did try to 'shop it to a normal plate but it all went a bit Pete Tong lol

I think a smaller plate might look a bit lost in the recess... what about an import size plate:

You can also get them with better lettering, but can't find a pic at the mo

SRlew

jack one more for ya mate! you know the vynal that goes along the bottom on the side of the car, fancy trying to put the same grey used on the bumpers across the side (like vynal) me and me brother like the idea of making it look standard again lol

Jack
21-12-06, 09:45 PM
Paint Shop Pro is my preferred choice, but I like to be different lol

Commercial versions of that and Photoshop are quite expensive. However, I make do with PSP4 and 5 which both have shareware versions floating around.
