what can i do to get a bit mor out of my 1.4 si ???

hi ive got a 1.4 si but with a 1.o mk1 carb and a diesel gear box 5 speed what can i put on the car to give it a bit more !!!
may be like filter or some thing not to spend mutch
the motor has 65 horse power any thing will help please:cool:

Your Si should have 83 bhp as it should be an MPi engine.
the diesel box will be wide ratio and ruin your acceleration so go for a f13 or 5 speed f10out a Nova SRi and that should give it a nice feel when pulling away.

If yous is an SPi, and you wanna keep the same CC for tax and insure reasons then get an MPi engine out a corsa or astra (get the engine gearbox, loom and ECU) and you have instant 20bhp.

add to that an exhaust, manifold and filter upgrade and get another 5-8 or so.
