my mates turbo isnt boosting right...he thinks its possibly a split vacum pipe or the boost control valve.
just wonering if anybody else has had this problem and was it either of the above?

Are you getting no boost, low boost..???

Does he have a boost guage?

ye hes got a boost gauge
its very low boost only boosting to like 2-3 when it normally goes up to 14-15(on the gauge)

that happened to me down the motorway, gradually the boost crept down until it would just pop an fart when you put your foot down. Nut just wound off as the thread was knackered.
